The matryoshka is one of the most famous hand crafted souvenirs of Russia. Developed at the end of the 19th century during the period known as "Russian Style" Kirovskaya matryoshka are also known as 'Vyatskaya matryoshka' as the old name for the city of Kirov is Vyatka.
All Art Alliance matryoshka are produced in our manufacturing facilities in Kirov, which has just celebrated 75 years of production.
